This feature is available by default on the Windows operating system. Here are just a few simple steps:
DiskCryptor is excellent open source encryption software that allows you to access all your harddisk partitions with encryption. You can also do this under System Encryption (C Drive) encryption. To use this method like Berber, you first need to download and install the dexcryptor software.

Via Windows BitLocker:
The first method we will follow to protect passwords to Pendrive or USB FlashDrive is very simple and straightforward and does not require any type of extra third-party software. By following this method you can protect your pen drive through a password, every time you enter a pen drive into the PC, you need to enter the password to get access to the pen drive. This feature is available by default on the Windows operating system. Here are just a few simple steps:
- 1) First insert your pen drive into your PC. Then right-click the mouse on your pen drive and select the Turn on BitLocker option.
- 2) Now a new window called BitLocker Drive Encryption will appear. From here, check the Use a password to unlock the drive box. Then, by typing the password you want to enter in the pen drive, twice, enter it. Then click the Next button.
- 3) Now select the option of your choice from the three options and click on the Next button and finish the password setting system.
- 4) Now the encryption process will start. When the process is complete your password will be set with the password you gave!
With Dexcryptor:

Steps:
- 1) After installing the dexcryptor software, insert the pen drive into your PC. Then launch the software. Now select your pen drive from the list and click on the "Encrypt" button from the right hand side.
- 2) A popup window will appear and let you specify the encryption setting. If you are not a PC Expert user, it is best not to set these default settings here. Now click on the Next button.
- 3) In the next window you will need to set a Strong Password for your pen drive. After entering the password, re-enter the password in the confirmation box and click on the OK button at the bottom. The encryption process will start.
- 4) Once the encryption process is finished, you just need to select Pendrive from the list and click on Mount option from the left side options. Then it's done! This time you need to enter the password every time you enter the pen drive!
